About Jemimah Ashleigh
Jemimah Ashleigh is a visibility strategist, international keynote speaker, bestselling author and award-winning entrepreneur. But long before she was helping founders, executives and thought leaders step into the spotlight, she spent more than a decade working where visibility was the last thing anyone wanted.
For 13 years, Jemimah worked in law enforcement specialising in intelligence, investigations, controlled operations, human trafficking and national security. Her work demanded sharp thinking, emotional intelligence and an ability to understand people beyond what they said. Those years shaped the way she sees influence, trust and human behaviour, lessons that continue to underpin her work today.
Her story, however, began much earlier.
Raised in regional Victoria, with formative years spent living in the United States, Jemimah developed a curiosity about people, cultures and communication from an early age. She went on to study Indonesian for more than 15 years and Auslan, experiences that broadened her perspective and strengthened her belief that meaningful connection is built through understanding others.
When she left policing, Jemimah wasn't following a carefully mapped-out business plan. She was following curiosity.
Hey degrees including Undergraduate in Science (National Security), Post Graduate in Investigations (La Trobe University) and Criminal Intelligence (Charlues Sturt University). Jemimah also studied Bahasa Indonesia and completed Cert 3 and Cert 4 in Auslan.
She launched Tangs Design, transforming a jewellery label into a successful six-figure business and discovering a passion for entrepreneurship along the way. That journey opened doors into speaking, writing, podcasting and mentoring, ultimately leading her to the work she is best known for today.
Along the way, she co-hosted The Business Experiment, one of Australia's most successful business podcasts, reaching more than 7 million listeners. She became a bestselling author, was recognised among Australia's leading female entrepreneurs and built a reputation as the person businesses call when they want to become known, respected and remembered.
Today, as Founder of The Visibility Lab, Jemimah works with founders, executives, experts and organisations to build visibility that creates opportunity. She has helped hundreds of clients strengthen their personal brands, secure national media coverage, become bestselling authors, deliver TEDx talks and win hundreds of business awards, proving that visibility isn't about chasing attention. It's about building trust, credibility and influence.
While her career has taken many different paths, there's been one consistent thread running through all of them: understanding people.
Whether she was analysing criminal behaviour, building brands, speaking from international stages or mentoring business owners, Jemimah has always been fascinated by what makes people listen, connect and take action.
Away from business, she's equally at home on a stage.
A trained improviser and comedian, Jemimah has performed around the world, with her original show He Had It Coming receiving multiple five-star reviews. She believes humour is one of the most underrated leadership skills, creating connection, building confidence and reminding us not to take ourselves too seriously.
Today, Jemimah's mission is simple. To help brilliant people stop being the world's best kept secret.
